I am working on new headers for my blogs. Anyone want to volunteer to make me some?

In House Computer Lab
Conference weekend was at our house. My scrapbook room was turned into a computer lab for 3 days. We had at least 7 computers running at one time. The kids and Men were in gaming heaven. This is such a fun tradition for my family. I think what makes it so successful is all the candy, chocolate and caffeinated beverages that are consumed over the course of 48 hours.

Kids' Back to School Photo Session
I absolutely refuse to buy school photos. They are terrible! (Ok I do buy the class photo) So I have been seriously busy taking individual and family photos for other people which is really fun but the time had come to get individuals of my own kids! So over UEA weekend I gathered my cute monsters and took them for their own photo sessions. I posted some fun outtakes on my other blog but here are a few of my favorite and a link to the complete gallery.

Our One and Only Camping Trip of the Year
Every year we begin the summer with great ambitions to go camping more often. It never happens. We barely squeezed this one camping trip up Logan Canyon in. We went with some great friends of ours and they brought there camping trailer. Jason and I and a couple of the kids slept out in our tent. They brought their dirt bikes and we brought our dune racer. We had a great spot with lots of room for the kids to drive the go kart around. Brock and Mikele also hiked to the top of the cliff.
Jason and I learned how to drive dirt bikes. It was a lot easier than I thought. I had a great teacher. Thanks Curtis! I didn't crash or kill it but I am terrible at turning and according to some I drive like a Grandma.
Curtis is a cop and brought his guns for us to shoot. All the kids but Allie took a turn shooting. Allie and Kassie enjoyed playing with the empty shells.
We had a great time and really should go camping more often. It is getting a little too chilly to camp in the tent for this season. Maybe next year!
