I realized that I never posted the part two of Easter that I promised. We celebrated bunny day on Saturday morning so Friday night we decorated eggs. Brock and I had just got back from spending the week in Idaho working and I was frankly beat. Fortunetly Jason was willing to cover for me. The kids got their eggs all colored and ready for the Easter bunny. Mikele and Brock also wrote the bunny a long note about how they wanted their eggs hid in really hard place. The Easter bunny obliged. We had a great morning finding eggs, enjoying family time. It was great to be home and spend the weekend together as a family.
The famous Grammy package.
The Easter baskets: Brock - new tie and iTunes gift card.
Mikele - white skirt and new top and basketball
Kassie - pink dress with leggings and mermaid barbie
Allie - white dress with polk-a-dots and skipper barbie doll

Hey Nicole, I just want to tell you thanks for the Easter Bunny Saturday (that is what we call it) idea! I read about it in one of your posts last year and waited ALL year to do it this year! John was a bit skeptical, but it was SOOO nice! So much more relaxed and allowed us to spend Sunday (and the week leading up to it) reflecting and preparing for Easter. Saturday was lots of fun for our kids, but Sunday was religious and spiritual - just the way it should be! So thanks, good friend! Here's to next year!
Love that they wrote a letter asking for more challenging hiding spots. Does that mean they still believe in the Easter bunny??! Love your cute kids!
