Over UEA weekend my Mom hosted a fabulous fall event - Octoberfest. On Friday (day 1) we enjoyed a big breakfast and then went outside for the great pumpkin hunt. A scarcrow had come the night before and hid all of Grandma's pumpkins including the great white pumpkin.
After we tracked down all the pumpkins we started making apple cider. We picked, washed, ground, pressed, and strained those apples. We ended up with over 46 gallons of cider.
We were all exhausted so after dinner we got comfy and watched the Legend of Sleepy Hallow.
