Jason's Birthday

Jason had a busy but great birthday. The kids and I wrote 36 notes about the things we loved about the Jason.  We taped them in all the places that Jason would find them throughout his morning routine. He said he loved the notes but was slightly disturbed but how many because it made him feel kind of old.

We had a kindergarten meeting for Kassie that night so by the time we got home we decided to change dinner plans to just ordering pizza and saved the steaks and homemade french fries for Friday night. Then we opened presents. I bought Jason a remote control helicopter and darts. He was very excited about both.

Jason requested a chocolate cake with white frosting. To make it exciting I crashed one of Brock's matchbox helicopters into the cake. I wasn't expecting real flames but with 36 candles the tail rotter got a little toasty.  I don't think Brock will let me use one of his matchbox cars again.

I got a little behind on my 52 week family project but I am caught up now.
Here is a link to week 4 and week 5

Looks like Brock was even more excited than Jason! : )
