One of our favorite camping trips of the year was to Bear Lake with the Lufkin family. We met at a camp ground on the east side of the lake. We were right on the lake with a gorgeous view. The only downside of this campsite was that the beach area was rocky and not sandy. We had a wiener roast the first night and then made friendship and beaded bracelets. The next day we went to the north beach to play all day! It was a blast. The water was warm, the sand was plentiful and the sun was shinning. The beach was packed but we found a nice area and there was really plenty of sand and water for all. On the last day we packed up and headed around to the south beach to play. We played most of the late morning and early afternoon before heading around to Garden city for lunch and raspberry shakes. Sadly it was time to head home but we are planning on making this an annual tradition. Until next year!
