We had been trying to get the cousins together all summer and with only a few days left of summer vacation we finally made it happen. Jenny and her kids met us at Hill's Airforce base to check out the planes and see the museum. There were 9 kids and only two adults. We did fine keeping track of everyone until we got into the museum. Jenny and I were with the younger 4 and the 5 older kids were ahead of us. Well we made it back to the entrance and couldn't find the 5 older kids anywhere! Jenny went back and looked for them - no luck! How do you loose 5 kids? We eventually found them in the kids area on computers trying out the flight simulators.
After the museum we went to lunch at Wendy's and then went to a splash pad. The younger kids loved the water but the older kids were not as hip on it. The afternoon had clouded over and it wasn't terribly warm because of the wind. Oh well. Overall everyone had a fun time and we are glad we could squeeze in one more play day before heading back to school.
