RULES:
1. Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours
2. Tag 6 fellow bloggers
Well here it is! I hope we can still all be friends after this.
1. I was stabbed with a pencil in 2nd grade by Tina Knox because we would tease her and call her Tina Turner. I still have the lead in my arm.
2. On light switches with multiple switches they all have to going the same direction when turned off. (i.e. all down) Every night I check that the switches in my house are appropriately turned down.
3. I HATE black and blue together. Especially when it is blue jeans with a black shirt. In fact I hate when people wear blue jeans with blue shirts.
4. I don't like the last of the milk in the bottom of a milk carton. I will open a new gallon and leave the remainder for someone else in my family to drink.
5. I sleep with my closet doors closed. Yes I have been known to make Jason get up and shut them. It just creeps me out.
6. I hate all soup! I will eat chili and Campbell's chicken noodle but that is it.
Hum, now who should a torture with this tag? How about Lacie, Kassandra, Cindy, Kim M., Kim G. and Caitlin.
I am working on new headers for my blogs. Anyone want to volunteer to make me some?

Tagged!
The tag: go to your fourth picture file, and post the fourth picture in that file... then tell the story.

This is a picture of Kassie and Kambrea. They are about 6 months apart and pretty much weigh the same. Kassie is still a little taller. We are at my parents house for conference weekend and well Kassie is chewing on a Nerf arrow. But that does not diminish how CUTE both girls are!
I am going to tag Emily (when you get a second with your new 2 bundles of joy), Lacie and Daryn.

The Music Man
Last weekend our stake performed the musical, "The Music Man." We took Brock and Mikele and they LOVED IT! We were sitting by an older couple. The man said he had played a part in the the play a number of years ago. Brock kept asking him questions throughout the play and the gentleman was so kind and answered all of his questions. Mikele also enjoyed the play. It did get a little long for her and because of the late hour she did get tired but she loved "the girl better then Conner's Dad" (that would be in reference to the two lead characters; Marian and Harold played by Shelly Bowman and Steve Hansen or Conner's dad).
After the play Mikele had her picture taken with Marian.

Brock is talking with the Mayor and his Wife. Harold is the guy in the blue band uniform.

Grammy & Denny's Halloween Package!
The kids got a pleasant surprise in the mail yesterday! Uncle Denny and Grammy Norris sent a Halloween package! It was full of books, puzzles, toys and TREATS! The kids spent the rest of the afternoon coloring by numbers, playing with their parachute guys and snacking on treats.
Uncle Denny sent Brock "Treasure Island" and Brock started reading it that night. He said it was a lot better then the boring old book he had been reading.
THANK YOU GRAMMY & UNCLE DENNY!!!!

For Sale!
We have decided that it is time to upgrade! We put our house on the market this week. You can view the house at UtahRealEstate.com. So if you know anyone or are looking for a cute house to buy please pass on the information.
I am probably driving my kids crazy trying to keep the house in perfect condition and ready to be shown at a moments notice. The sooner it sales the better off my kids will be and the more likely I will avoid going to the nut house!

Sisters
Yesterday I posted a video of Brock and Kassie. I hope you got as big of laugh as I did watching it! Today I thought I would post a video of Kassie and Mikele. With Brock at school all day, Mikele and Kassie are having to learn to play together. In this video Mikele is teaching Kassie her colors.

Swimming Swimming Swimming
Over the last couple of months Brock and Mikele have been taking private swimming lessons. I was determined after 4 YEARS of swimming lessons that Brock would finally learn to swim. Mark, Brock's primary teacher, runs the swimming department at the Sports Academy, a local fitness club. I asked him if he would give Brock private lessons and he agreed. I don't think Mark knew what he was getting himself into. After multiple lessons that consisted of very little swimming and a lot of power struggles, Brock finally overcame his fears enough to really learn to swim. When he finished, Brock was able to jump in, swim on his front and flip over to his back. He also started to swim on his side which was very impressive!

Mikele's teacher is a very patient man that Mikele calls Joe Joe. (his name is really Joseph) Mikele and my Mom made Joe a pink and purple card and cookies that Joe raved about and declared that pink and purple were his favorite colors. It made Mikele's day!

Only Yesterday!
Only Yesterday we were enjoying a beautiful warm fall! The kids were happily playing in the sandbox still wearing shorts and flip flops.

Today it is snowing! I had to turn the furnace on and pull out the sweaters and long sleeve shirts. I have to admit that I am not ready for summer to be over. Oh well, ready or not here it comes!
