Bunny Day!
Happy Bunny Day!! We decorated eggs Friday night with AnnMarie and Calvin. Well actually Calvin played games on his iphone and Jason installed the new dishwasher while AnnMarie and I helped the kids decorate eggs. Then the Easter Bunny hid them that night and the kids found them Saturday morning. The kids left a note for the Easter Bunny. They wanted to know if he was a boy or a girl (boy by the way.)

Brock had the prettiest eggs. They were very bright colors with little Easter sentiments on them.

Kassie's eggs had as much personality as her expression on her face. She colored her eggs once and then decided to color them a few more times. They were all different shades of brown by the time she finished.
Mikele's eggs were the most elaborate. She drew swirly lines all over her's with a crayon.
The kids got up around 9:45 and came into our room to find their baskets waiting. Brock got a basketball in his basket. Mikele had a Disney DVD bingo game and Kassie had a Tinkerbell Doll in her basket.

The Easter bunny was nice enough to leave us a list of where all the eggs were hidden. Unfortunately we couldn't find one of the real eggs and Jason swore he checked everywhere on the list. Luckily after probably a half hour of searching I went back and checked in the upstairs bathroom and found the missing egg.

After the hunt the kids played with their gifts. We had a nice relaxing day. Well Jason installed light fixtures and track lighting while the kids played and I cleaned the couches and the bathrooms.

Haha, her expression is hilarious!
First, the picture of Brock decorating eggs reminds me of Jon (probably Jon and not Jason just because I'm older than Jon and remember him better at that age than I remember Jason). THe look on Kassie's face is hilarious!! I also love how Kassie is taking Tinkerbell for a ride! Looks like you guys had a great time!
I love Tinkerbell's sweet ride. You always get such great pictures, Nicole. Kassie-I'm with ya. Baskets are the COOLEST!
You were right--it was definitely worth it to make that picture bigger--Kassies faces crack me up! What a cutie!
Just had to ask, Is Calvin holding Jason up-or trying to knock him down???:)
is that a new dishwasher Jason is installing? I thought maybe he was looking for another egg!!! ahahahaha. I LOVE Kassies face, she looks star struck! :) btw - I've started noticing that Kassie is looking more and more like brock - cute!
I think Calvin is checking to see if he will get shocked. Jason was putting up track lighting.
Yes, all three kids really have very similar faces but with the more dramatic features (hair color, skin tone, ect.) it makes them look so different.
