Oh May!

Well it has been a whirlwind of a month! Pretty much all good but just a lot of it. So here is one "run-on" post:

We had Soccer balls flying 3 days a week. Brock had games on Wednesday and Saturday and Mikele on Thursday and Saturday. Of course they were played on different ends of the valley and with Saturday games usually starting one hour after the other we would divide and conquer. Both kids had a great season. Brock discovered a new source of aggression and was really enjoyable to watch. Mikele was less aggressive but by the end of the season had started to really get into it and even scored a goal. They are both sad the season is over and are looking forward to playing next year.

Moving on we enjoyed some nice weather at the beginning of the month and were able to go and launch the rocket Brock got for his birthday. We took another opportunity while Uncle Denny and Great Grammy were here.

We traditionally plant our garden around Mother's day. This year was no exception. The only difference is the size. Our garden is about 3 times as big as our old garden spot at our old house. We have quite a few things that have come up but not as thick as I would have likes so after weeding this last week I replanted the beans and corn that came up pretty sparse.

Mikele had her last field trip for preschool. In the past they have always been on the day of my scrapbook class and I wasn't able to go but the field trip to the zoo was on a Tuesday so Kassie and I went with Mikele to check out the animals. It was a lot of fun to spend the day with Mikele and Kassie loved being able to go to school!!!

Over Memorial Day weekend we had to very special events. The first was the long awaited visit from Uncle Denny and Great Grammy and the second was Brock's Baptism. While Uncle Denny was here we took a day trip to the Tree House Museum in Ogden, we went to Hogo Zoo, played the wii, did a little shopping and were completely spoiled in good old Uncle Denny style. It was a great visit and we all really enjoyed it!!

Jon and Daryn drove down from Boise to spend a couple of days with us. While they were here Daryn cut the girl's hair. She did a great job!!

As mentioned Brock was also baptized. This was a very special and enjoyable day. The weather was perfect the Baptism was great and Brock had a wonderful experience. Thank you Thank you to all of the family and friends who made the trip to be a part of this special day and helped out with the luncheon!!!

We concluded the month with my birthday and Brock finishing 2nd grade. I think I am more excited then Brock to have school out for the summer.

Thanks Uncle Denny for the awesome gift!! I can't wait to hang it on the wall once we get the painting done.
