Introducing Allie Dee Norris

Well she is here and even has a name! Allie was born on Sunday, June 28th at 12:35 pm. She was 8 pounds 7 ounces and 21 inches long. She was 2 weeks early and I am glad! The delivery went well. She did have the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck and didn't cry much when she was born. They had to suck a lot of fluid out of her mouth but she was ok. After she was born she peed on the doctor twice! She didn't get mad about getting sucked out but she did get even. The passive aggressive type.

Jason helped give Allie her first bath. They now do the bath in the room instead of at the nursery. It was great to be able to be apart of the experience.

The most important thing to me after I have given birth is FOOD! I am just starved and for the first time in about 9 months I can eat and not feel like throwing up.

My parents came to meet their newest granddaughter. It was great to have them at the hospital. We spent Sunday afternoon trying to decide on the perfect name.

Later that evening Allie was introduced to her siblings. They were very excited and accepting of their new little sister!

We came home on Tuesday morning. It was the longest I had stayed at the hospital but I felt the extra time before going into full fledged mother of 4 mode would be wise.

Well all I can say about the next photo is Girls totally dominate in this house! Good luck Brock and Jason.

The kids, with the help of my Mom, colored this sign for us. Didn't they do a great job! It was so great to be at the hospital and know that my kids were in good hands. Calvin and AnnMarie came over at 3:00 am on Sunday to stay with the kids when we went to the hospital and my Mom stayed with the kids for the rest of the time we were at the hospital.

We had not set up Allie's bassinet yet and needed to bring up and wash the baby blankets after we got home. The kids all were very helpful!

Well that is all for now. For the record 4 is not the same as 3 but other then that things are going well. More pictures soon.
