I mentioned in the last post that is nice that the kids are getting older and can help more. In addition to having Brock mow the lawn on Saturday we also canned apple pie filling. I set the kids to work with the apple piller,-corer-slicer while I made the sauce and filled bottles. They did a great job and helped with out complaining. In all we bottled 30 quarts of apples and still had a crisper drawer full to eat. Yummy!!!
